Introduction

Studio Noos is an iconic brand on the streets of Amsterdam and across the Netherlands. Initially stepping out onto the scene with the “Mom bag”, over the years they’ve added more styles to the collection and lots of options for kids too. They wanted to upgrade from their existing webshop and wanted a more advanced system that could reflect their brand in a refreshing way.

They brought us in to guide a migration from a Headless to a Native Shopify setup to improve the technical complexity and overall experience. We also helped them with a new digital strategy to better communicate their brand identity and story.

Challenge

The greatest challenge with a Headless setup is that many changes on the frontend need to be executed by a developer first – which takes time and costs money. In Studio Noos’ case, it meant they couldn’t update their beautiful content as easily or quickly as they would have liked to. This inflexibility impacted how extensively they could communicate their brand story, which they wanted to do to stand out from the crowd. 

Solution

We seamlessly migrated them to Native Shopify allowing more flexibility to implement optimisations and better tracking.

The migration also helped the brand strategy we guided Studio Noos with. Working with a more flexible system meant that content could easily be uploaded alongside the products to show online customers the ‘behind the scenes’ footage. It’s a great way to show the craftsmanship of the product and enhance the brand experience. Further, we integrated a tool that allows the customer to see their personalisation on the bag live online to imagine what it will look like before purchase.


The migration has allowed more space for visuals and videos, encouraging customers to stay on the website longer and get to know the brand better. It has also helped show website visitors the extensive offer of their products.

We continue to work with Studio Noos on growth and e-commerce services. Our understanding of the brand and what they offer in terms of brilliant products and values makes us a perfect partner to help communicate their brand further. After refreshing their online presence, we helped them translate that into an advertising strategy focused growing new business.
